Wildlife Handling Permits
Kleinfelder’s biological team includes a wide array of species specialists working across many regions to assess impacts and develop mitigation strategies for species protected by federal and state regulations.
In the field, these specialists use new technologies and equipment to determine the species presence and abundance with habitat assessments, protocol surveys, live capture, camera stations, and radio/satellite telemetry.
Our biologists have scientific collecting and handling permits and are agency-approved to monitor many of the below-listed species. For bird species, we hold bird-banding and salvage permits. We also work under MOAs and MOUs to handle certain listed species.
