Kleinfelder Further Invests in Oil and Gas Market through the Addition of Amy Fotenos as a Client Account Manager

DENVER, Colorado – Kleinfelder is pleased to announce the addition of Amy Fotenos, as a Client Account Manager for the oil and gas market. Amy will be responsible for fostering relationships with oil and gas clients, working closely with local operations to ensure delivery of solutions that meet the needs of our clients, and leading the development of client-centric delivery teams capable of addressing all areas of the project lifecycle.

Amy is an accomplished client account manager with a track record of cultivating successful client partnerships, outperforming sales, developing new business, and strengthening client relationships. She has worked with major oil and gas clients throughout North America on all types of upstream, midstream and downstream projects. These projects have ranged in size, with some reaching $388M for design and construction of compressor stations and interstate pipelines.  Amy’s knowledge of the oil and gas industry positions her to understand Kleinfelder’s clients’ business, develop innovative solutions and sound recommendations to meet client needs, and effectively communicate client requirements and expectations to delivery teams.

A skilled business developer, Amy has proven she can grow clientele market share and contribute to the growth of Kleinfelder.  In one year as a Vice President of Business Development for an AEC firm, Amy acquired 23 new Master Service Agreements, captured over $400M in new bid opportunities, and increased revenue from $20M to $40M.  Accomplishments such as these were influential to company growth, increasing employees from 1,200 to 2,000.

“We are thrilled to have Amy’s energy and expertise,” commented Derek Bowman, VP, Central Division Market Manager. “Her ability to work well in a matrixed environment, interacting with both business development and operations teams, as well as maintaining close communications with Kleinfelder’s clients to effectively represent their needs, will help drive Kleinfelder to the next level with existing and new clients.”

In addition to her dedication as an exceptional client account manager, Amy is an active participant of several organizations.  She has served on various energy boards including Women in Oil Gas Colorado, and is the current Chairman of Fundraising for the Rocky Mountain Pipeliners Club.  She is also involved in National Jewish Hospital, GPA Midstream Association, and Denver Petroleum Club.
