Kleinfelder Builds Connections at CMAA2024
Kleinfelder embraced the spirit of connection at the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) 2024 Conference held October 27-29 in San Francisco, CA. Immersed in three days of insightful education, collaborative discussions, and robust networking, attendees gained valuable insights into the latest industry trends and best practices.
“Attending industry conferences and events is a valuable way to stay informed and network with other professionals in the field,” shared Kleinfelder Vice President and Senior Program Manager Brian Kisner, PMP, LEED AP.
Conference Highlights
A dozen Kleinfelder staff members attended CMAA’s flagship conference this year, actively participating in a variety of activities and sessions:
- Marketing and Recruiting Opportunities: At the Kleinfelder sponsored exhibitor table, which also served as a recruiting opportunity, attendees connected with members of the team, learned about the company’s expertise, and current job openings.
- Friendly Competition: A fun “Guess the Number of LEGO’s” contest at our booth added an engaging element, with two lucky winners emerging from the tie! Internally, our staff members tried their hand at guessing the number of LEGOs, and Kleinfelder Vice President and West Division Risk/Quality Manager Jeremy Mason was the winner.
- Connection: Beyond connecting with some fantastic industry professionals, our team members connected through a team dinner on the first night of the conference. This provided an opportunity for discussions, idea sharing, and camaraderie.
The conference provided a unique platform for learning, sharing, and connecting. Engaging in open discussions and shared experiences fostered a sense of community and collaboration. The numerous learning opportunities gleaned from keynote and breakout sessions equipped us with the latest tools and knowledge to excel in our field. More importantly, the conference facilitated valuable networking, allowing us to forge new relationships and strengthen existing ones.
We cannot wait to attend next year’s conference in Nashville, TN!
