Kleinfelder Leading Innovation at Mobility 21

Kleinfelder sparked innovation at the 2024 Mobility 21 Southern California Transportation Summit on September 21st in Anaheim, CA. It was difficult to miss Kleinfelder’s presence at California’s largest one-day transportation event with more than 1,300 transportation stakeholders, industry leaders, and elected officials. Mobility 21 is a regional effort to focus on the transportation efforts of Southern California and streamline the connections in Los Angeles, Imperial, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura Counties. The Summit served as a great opportunity to network with Kleinfelder’s current and potential clients. Aligning perfectly with the event’s theme “Authors of Innovation,” Kleinfelder showcased its commitment to driving progress in the transportation and infrastructure sectors.

Conference Highlights:

Since 2011, Kleinfelder staff members, comprised of both attendees and volunteers, have actively participated in the summit’s various activities and sessions.

  • Sponsorship: At this year’s event, Kleinfelder was one of 117 exhibitors and sponsored the Hospitality Suite which offered a private networking space, charging stations, arcade games, ping pong, cornhole, snacks and beverages.
  • Leadership Presence: In addition to the Summit’s insightful breakout sessions, the Hospitality Suite also provided a great opportunity for our leaders to network with various potential clients given that Kleinfelder marketing materials were heavily present throughout the suite. “The Mobility 21 Summit offered an invaluable opportunity for our leadership team to connect with exceptional individuals.” stated Area Manager Rich Fitterer, “It was a perfect setting to foster new relationships and strengthen existing ones, all while showcasing Kleinfelder’s expertise and commitment to our clients.”
  • Marketing and Recruiting Opportunities: At the Kleinfelder exhibitor table, which also served as a recruiting opportunity, attendees connected with members of the team, learned about the company’s expertise, current job openings and received themed giveaways, including the popular light bulb candy favors.
  • Volunteers: Kleinfelder volunteers also contributed significantly to the event’s success by assisting with registration, hospitality suite services, and dining check-ins. The volunteers were an added contribution to visibility throughout the event.

From learning about Artificial Intelligence’s role in transforming transportation to learning about California’s transition to sustainable transportation, Kleinfelder’s overall participation in the Mobility 21 Summit underscored its dedication to shaping the future of transportation in Southern California. By fostering innovation, collaborating with industry stakeholders, and providing valuable solutions, Kleinfelder is poised to continue making a lasting impact on the region’s transportation landscape.
