Bryan Rose Returns to Kleinfelder to Lead the Geotechnical Department in Central Texas

AUSTIN, Texas – Kleinfelder has announced Bryan Rose, PE, has rejoined the firm as the Geotechnical Department Manager in Central Texas.  Rose will provide technical leadership and management to ensure quality and timely delivery of services, adherence to safety policies and practices, and continued growth of Kleinfelder’s geotechnical practice in Central Texas.

Rose was with Kleinfelder for five years, serving as a Senior Project Manager in Austin, TX, before leaving in 2015 to pursue new opportunities. “A particular strength of Kleinfelder has always been the degree to which their network of professionals collaborates on projects and shares resources.  I feel privileged to reconnect with colleagues and friends in a leadership role, and I relish the opportunity to contribute, mentor, and support the team,” commented Rose.

With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Rose is well versed in leading operations involving geotechnical exploration, geotechnical design, and construction materials testing for public and private infrastructure.  Within the public sector, he has worked on numerous highway, road, bridge, and retaining wall projects for Texas Department of Transportation; new facilities, building additions, parking garages, and student housing for schools and universities, including Austin Independent School District and the University of Texas system; and dam and reservoir projects for local government agencies. Rose’s private sector work includes managing geotechnical field programs and design projects for electric transmission lines and midstream oil and gas sites.  His diverse experience across multiple markets positions him to implement practices that drive quality and meet the unique needs of Kleinfelder’s diverse client base.

In addition to bringing tremendous technical and management value to Kleinfelder, Rose’s leadership experience and existing knowledge of Kleinfelder will allow him to leverage Kleinfelder’s extensive technical network, bringing the most qualified resources to client projects and connecting staff with mentorship and development opportunities.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to work with Bryan again,” said Kleinfelder Austin Operations Manager Kelly Daniel. “With Bryan’s enthusiasm, I am confident that we will be even more effective at meeting our client’s needs.  He has a wealth of experience with many of our existing clients and he is an exceptional mentor that our engineering staff will benefit from greatly.”

Rose is licensed as a Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. He holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Houston and University of Texas at Austin, respectively.
