This client engaged Kleinfelder to perform bush regeneration services for 17 roadside sites across NSW government areas. The sites contained critically endangered flora and the habitat for threatened fauna. The project aims to eradicate the noxious and environmental weeds that detrimentally impact these endangered species and areas.
Our work resulted in the reduction of competing exotic weed species, allowing the germination of Weeping Myall and Persoonia paucliflora, as well as the conservation of the Weeping Myall, White Box Yellow Box Grassy Woodlands, and the Grey-crowned Babbler habitat. By engaging Kleinfelder, the NSW government has ensured the existing vegetation is not only retained, but is expanding throughout the roadside reserves. Furthermore, Kleinfelder ensured the budget stayed on track with client requirements, leading to further bush regeneration and conservation work for our business within the area.
