Staff from Kleinfelder’s Ohio Area Celebrate the Grand Opening of Penta Career Center’s 1205 Training Center

Staff from Kleinfelder’s Ohio Area team recently joined Penta Career Center in celebrating the grand opening of its new 1205 Training Center in Holland, Ohio. The event marked the completion of a 16,000-square-foot facility designed to support technical programs for high school students and flexible adult education courses. Located at 1205 Corporate Drive, the new campus provides advanced lab and classroom spaces tailored to support hands-on learning for students in the northwestern part of the Penta school district.

Kleinfelder, selected by Penta Career Center to lead several key capital improvement projects, delivered architectural and engineering design services for the Training Center, incorporating flexible spaces that accommodate a range of programs from phlebotomy to HVAC, plumbing, and manufacturing. In addition to the Training Center, Kleinfelder’s recent projects for Penta’s main campus include a new E-Mobility Center and renovated cosmetology labs.

Fritz Roberson, Senior Architect, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and reflected on the project’s impact: “It’s rewarding to see the 1205 Training Center come to life. Our design approach was thoughtful and intentional, ensuring that the building meets the unique needs of each program and can successfully support Penta’s vision. Working on the Penta Career Center portfolio has been a fulfilling experience, knowing we’re helping create lasting educational resources that benefit the community.”

With the new facility now open, Penta Career Center is positioned to deliver enhanced vocational training, equipping students and adult learners with the skills needed in today’s workforce. Kleinfelder is proud to support Penta’s mission to provide high-quality, career-technical education across Northwest Ohio.
