PNA Trail to Safety Event

PNA Trail to Safety Event

Kleinfelder’s Pennsylvania, New Jersey & New York Area (PNA) hosted its annual Trail to Safety event – an interactive training event designed to review important, relevant, and timely safety topics with Kleinfelder employees and clients – earlier this month.

During this year’s event, over 50 participants traveled along the “trail” to attend four stations designed to highlight safety considerations, including:

  • Station 1: Traffic Control and Ergonomics (led by Mark Murtha and Jenna Grace)
  • Station 2: Situational Awareness and Utility Location (led by Paul Lucuski, Ricky Lewis, and Clinton Durham)
  • Station 3: Avoiding Underground Utilities (led by Chris Hamrick and Derek Pagel)
  • Station 4: Confined Space Entry Safety Overview (led by Mike Whalen)

Trail to Safety gives employees and clients the opportunity to come together in a unique learning environment and share industry best practices, lessons learned, and other experiences with each other in small group settings where health and safety are the primary focus.

Trail to Safety has been a long-standing tradition among the Hamilton, NJ team and has grown into an Area-wide demonstration of PNA’s commitment to the Health & Safety over the past few years. This year’s event extended to our Kleinfelder/Century (Dover, DE) staff as well.

Trail to Safety is not just “another safety meeting”—it’s an event that highlights a sense of community at Kleinfelder and the importance of keeping our teams safe in PNA and beyond.
