Maryland Offices Team Up to Honor Our Veterans with Donation to MCVET
Kleinfelder offices in Maryland help Veterans with donations to MCVET
The Hunt Valley and Baltimore (Hanover) offices in Maryland teamed up to help Veterans in need with donations to the Maryland Center for Veterans Education and Training (MCVET). Located in downtown Baltimore, MCVET is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been serving the Veteran community for more than 30 years. It takes a holistic approach in providing services for physical, emotional, and professional needs, including case management, mental health services, substance abuse counseling, health insurance, benefits assistance, training programs, careers services, and both short-term and long-term housing. MCVET has provided more than 120,000 services to Veterans over the past 30 years.
Hunt Valley and Baltimore staff took up the call when MCVET used social media to ask for donations of coats, blankets, and sheets in honor of Veterans Day. After collecting a full carload of donations, the items were taken to the MCVET location, where they were happily received.
Thank you to all who contributed items for donation! A special thanks goes out to those who helped coordinate efforts, including Carol Blodgett, Kari Adlington, Kim Price, Jennifer Kozak, and Cathy Taylor.
