Aaron Tozer

Aaron Tozer

Technician/Analyst Aaron Tozer (Killeen, TX) was recognized by Kelly Daniel and Ruby Ruthford as an outstanding safety leader:

“Aaron is always willing to do the right thing and thinks about safety holistically. He is willing to utilize any extra tools and equipment we can give him to be protected. He is also always one of the first to have his training done and most recently reached out to ask for a sunshade for his hard hat to keep him protected from the sun during a period of extreme heat here in Texas.”

Doucet Crew Chief Adam Morales (Austin, TX) was recognized by John Barnard, RPLS, Director of Geospatial Services, as an outstanding safety leader:

“Adam exemplifies true leadership in his dedicated focus on the safety of his field crew and the public when working on job sites. He accurately assesses risks in a variety of field conditions and implements appropriate safety methods to mitigate these risks. Adam is clear in his communication and leads by example. Our staff and clients trust Adam to be a trustworthy leader, dedicated to providing a great product while operating under safe surveying field operations.”

Environmental Engineer Aliza Danker (San Diego, CA) was recognized by Nick Fontaine as an outstanding safety leader:

“Aliza not only participates in the Kleinfelder safety program by developing health and safety plans and participating in regular safety exercises, she also didn’t hesitate to accept a position as the San Diego H&S rep. In this last year, Aliza built and implemented health and safety kits for the SD office that can be taken into the field so our employees are prepared for many common field work hazards. Aliza saw a need and took the initiative to make a positive change that is helping to keep her colleagues safe.”

Program Manager and Environmental Scientist Andrew Fleming (Atlanta, GA) was recognized by Liz Bissonnette and Graham Stallings as an outstanding safety leader:

“Andrew is an exemplary H&S steward and exactly the type of senior leader we need within the Area and Kleinfelder to ensure in- and out-of-office safety and mindfulness for team members, clients, and personal relationships. He helps to coach staff on LPOs, worked with our team to roll out training, and recenty developed a fatigue management plan and telephone tree.”

Construction Inspector and Technician/Analyst Bob Frazer (San Diego, CA) was recognized by Michalle Beringhaus as an outstanding safety leader:

“Bob was responsible for developing several project-specific Health & Safety Plans, completing multiple LPOs, and has an excellent understanding of Kleinfelder’s LPS. Bob makes sure that new hires assigned to his current project in Chula Vista have a safe transition into construction inspection. I am so thankful to have Bob on our team because I know he prioritizes safety for himself and for everyone on and around the project site.”

Client Account Manager and Project Manager Chad McGillivray (Edmonton, Canada) was recognized by Scott Kennedy as an outstanding safety leader:

“Chad respects and facilitates our internal safety culture by following JLAs, work instructions, client requirements, and enters good catches and MSDs on a regular basis. Chad always goes above and beyond to come prepared with interesting safety moment shares for both internal and client meetings, as well as quarterly Alberta safety meetings, and fosters the safety culture we want to spread as an organization. Chad’s dedication to safety can even be seen through his hobbies, like mountain biking and fatbiking.”

Senior Construction Manager Chris Walsh (Dover, DE) was recognized by Brian Kisner as an outstanding safety leader:

“Chris is always looking out for everyone’s safety, from our employees to contractors to the traveling public. Each day he does his best to ensure everyone goes home safe. Recently, Chris was visiting a construction site and used stop work authority, only permitting work to continue after the required trench box was installed. Thank you, Chris!”

Technician/Analyst Daniel Kousbroek (Australia) was recognized by Adam Marshall as an outstanding safety leader:

“Dan is one of our busiest managers in New South Wales, but in his safety leadership, he brings that most important of commodities – time. He invests in his team, mentoring and coaching in safety skills and spending field time reinforcing those learnings and verifying our system compliance.”

Environmental Scientist Danny Dang (Australia) was recognized by Kristina Braun as an outstanding safety leader:

“Danny incorporates LPS tool use into his planning and execution of work to ensure he keeps himself, his teams, and the communities he works in safe. Additionally, he frequently shares LPS learnings to ensure all staff get the maximum benefit from the tool use. He is a great example for all staff in the Victoria Area.”

Senior Project Manager and Water Resources Engineer Denise Plummer (Bowling Green, OH) was recognized by Scott Schroeder as an outstanding safety leader:

“Denise has been a safety leader with her team in understanding and embracing Kleinfelder’s Health & Safety Program. She has conducted multiple Manager Safety Discussions, stewarded her team’s use of the Good Catch tool, and actively participated in monthly Health & Safety Stewardship conversions. Environmental Scientist Emma Applegate (Hamilton, NJ) was recognized by Paul Lucuski as an outstanding safety leader:

“Since my first management site visit on Emma in 2020, she showed a passion for safety for both herself and others, ensuring I was aware of the hazards on the site and her mitigating actions. Since then Emma has supervised numerous jobs in the field that were both completed safely and technically as planned. She has also started planning the tasks in the office and is using what she learned in the field to ensure that that team completing them are set up for success.”

Sr. Administrative Specialist Jamie Prosser (Augusta, ME) was recognized by Kyle Plossay and Matt Steele as an outstanding safety leader:

“Jamie has worked with the entire MNA team by supporting our LI reviews, LPS data input, and our monthly stewardship meetings. She has also supported field staff, providing them with needed PPE as new hires and when equipment needs to be replaced. Jamie also instructs our construction field staff on conducting and entering LPOs into the LPS database. Jamie truly is a valued member of our MNA LPS team!”

Project Administrator and Project Manager Jessica Flores (Las Vegas, NV) was recognized by David Alexander and Jodi Preston as an outstanding safety leader:

Senior Professional and Geotechnical Engineer Mohsen Mahdavi (San Jose, CA) was recognized by Bill McCormick as an outstanding safety leader:

“Mohsen managed the safety protocols and testing on a known contaminated site for a high-tech client, who has an extreme high priority and stringent requirements for facility and people safety. In order to perform the standard geotechnical exploration, Mohsen had to coordinate access and screening tests and get approval, from approximately 30 people on the client side using multiple mobilizations to the site and quick turn-around for environmental testing on groundwater as well as soils. Our client was very happy with his adherence to their site protocols, leading them to ask for a proposal for additional work. Great job, Mohsen!”

Construction Manager Patrick Rodgers (Christiansburg, VA) was recognized by Joe Hamed as an outstanding safety leader:
