Sacramento, CA – The Kleinfelder Group, Inc. (Kleinfelder), a leading engineering, design, construction management, construction materials inspection and testing, and environmental professional services firm, is excited to announce the hiring of Jeremy Scott, PE, as Client Account Manager. In this role, Scott will help grow Kleinfelder’s portfolio of site assessment and remediation work as well as facilitate technical and project management leadership among a growing and talented team of professionals in Northern California and Hawaii.

Scott has over 20 years of diverse engineering experience across a broad spectrum of environmental projects. Prior to joining Kleinfelder, he served as a program director for environmental programs involving commercial and residential redevelopment, remediation of VOC impacts at manufacturing plants, and investigation, remedy selection (for metals impacts), and demolition of former power plants and tank farms. He has also led environmental and geotechnical evaluations to redevelop inactive waste sites for large-scale solar installations, managed and supported NPDES, SWPPP, SPCC, and RMA projects, and provided waste management and landfill subject matter expertise for projects globally.

As a business development leader, Scott has managed client accounts across a variety of market sectors, building and maintaining relationships, ensuring client needs are met, and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.

Scott is a licensed professional civil engineer and holds a master’s degree in environmental engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of California at Davis.
