Kleinfelder’s M&A award recognizes the firm’s acquisition of Century Engineering, Inc. in November 2021 – the company’s fifth strategic acquisition since December 2019 when it purchased Advantage Engineers, followed by Garcia and Associates, Poggemeyer Design Group, and Gas Transmission Systems in 2020. The five acquisitions have added more than 1,300 staff and over 40 offices, accelerating the firm’s growth in strategic geographies and expansion in robust markets.

By curating key management positions focused on mergers and acquisitions, including the designation of a Revenue Synergy Leader, Kleinfelder has developed and implemented a comprehensive revenue synergy growth strategy that is inclusive of all acquired entities. Execution of this strategy has strengthened the company’s client relationships, enhanced service offerings, and maximized staffing resources, all of which have contributed to an incremental increase in revenue greater than each firm acting independently.
