Clark County Department of Public Works Selects CMWorks-Kleinfelder as Construction Manager as Agent for Silverado Ranch Projects Totaling Over $34M
April 29, 2021 (LAS VEGAS, Nevada) – Clark County Department of Public Works has selected CMWorks, a Kleinfelder company, to provide owner’s representative construction management and quality assurance inspection and testing services for two Silverado Ranch projects totaling over $34M. The projects will improve flood control and traffic flow in the Silverado Ranch and South Central Clark County neighborhood areas.
The Silverado Ranch Detention Basin and Outfall Facilities and Silverado Boulevard from Arville Street to Dean Martin Drive – Phase B is a $25.7M project involving construction of a 294 acre-ft detention basin with two inflow storm drains and widening of Silverado Ranch Boulevard.
The Silverado Ranch Boulevard from Jones Boulevard to Arville Street – Phase A is an $8.7M street widening project that adds two paved lanes in each direction as well as associated infrastructure such as a raised median, paved shoulders, storm drain pipe, drop inlets, sidewalk, and ultrathin asphalt concrete surfacings (UTACS).
Project work will begin in July 2021, with Phase B starting first and Phase A kicking off later. In total, project work is anticipated to last about a year and a half.
