Kleinfelder Ranks in Top 25 Trenchless Engineering Firms
Kleinfelder has moved up from #30 to #23 on the 2021 Top 50 Trenchless Engineering Firms in North America list.
Trenchless Technology recently released its annual survey ranking trenchless engineering companies in North America. Moving up from #30 on the 2020 list, Kleinfelder ranked #23 on the Top 50 Trenchless Engineering Firms in North America 2021 list.
The rankings are based on reported trenchless project revenue in North America relative to total company revenue. In addition, the survey takes into account the number of employees specializing in trenchless design, and the number and type of trenchless projects completed in the past year. Trenchless Technology’s survey is aimed at providing readers a snapshot of the scope of work completed by top trenchless engineers, offering an impression of annual market performance.
In FY21, Kleinfelder reported $17.1M in trenchless revenue, a significant increase from $11.4M the previous fiscal year. This growth comes in a two-year period of drop in market revenue overall from $1.55B to $1.44B. The increase represents organic growth and does not factor in revenue generated from GTS’s HDD work or revenue from any other recent Kleinfelder acquisition.
