The San Diego Area is home to Kleinfelder’s headquarters, so our open positions range from corporate functions including accounting, human resources, and legal roles to technical positions in our geotechnical, civil, and structural engineering groups. Key positions we’re looking to fill right away are below.
Principal Civil Engineer
West Division Leadership
Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (MS or MBA desired); PE Registration in California or ability to obtain within 12 months; 15+ years of progressive civil site, roadway, and stormwater design experience; 5 + years of client interaction/selling experience.
Principal Water / Wastewater Engineer
Los Angeles / San Diego
Requirements: Candidates must be highly experienced and well connected in the municipal drinking water and wastewater engineering field. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required, Master’s preferred. 12+ years of related experience in consulting engineering firm or related service business and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations required.
Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager
San Diego
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering and 5-10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering with extensive experience on infrastructure projects. California PE license is required; a California GE designation is desirable.
