MOUNT DORA, Florida – Kleinfelder is excited to announce that Doug Hearn, PG has joined our team in Florida in the role of Water Resources Program Manager. Doug will provide oversight and management of environmental and hydrogeologic technical programs and projects for mining, state and local government, utilities, transportation, and energy clients throughout Florida and the Southeast.

Most recently, as the Technical Program Manager for groundwater modeling at the St. Johns River Water Management District, Doug worked collaboratively with representatives of the South Florida, Southwest Florida, and Suwannee River Water Management Districts during development of three large scale regional models that collectively span the Floridan aquifer and overlying aquifer systems from the Fall Line in northwest Georgia south to Lake Okeechobee. These models are now being used in the Regulatory, Water Supply Planning, and Minimum Flows and Levels programs for each of the noted water management districts throughout the State of Florida.
Doug is a registered professional geologist in Florida and holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the University of Florida.
