David (Dave) Goershel serves as National Federal Market Manager and Executive Vice President. In this leadership role, Dave oversees the firm’s national federal growth strategy, directing efforts to scale operations and expand Kleinfelder’s multidisciplinary engineering and environmental service offerings across government agencies.

Dave brings over 40 years of industry experience to the role, with more than three decades dedicated to program management, project execution, and strategic business development in the federal sector. Throughout his career, he has held executive leadership roles with multiple Department of Defense organizations, including the Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Air Force Reserve Command, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Defense Logistics Agency, and Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, as well as civilian agencies such as the National Park Service, U.S. Postal Service, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and General Services Administration.
