San Diego’s Annual Blanket and Sock Drive

Terri London, Kleinfelder Construction Services Area Administrative Manager and Kleinfelder West Division Risk Review Coordinator, leads efforts to organize the San Diego team’s annual blanket and sock drive
The San Diego office’s annual blanket and sock drive has officially wrapped up, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our staff this year, we exceeded our goals and made a meaningful difference in our communities.
The goals for 2026 were to collect 150 blankets or sleeping bags, 150 pairs of socks, and 75 shelf-stable meal kits.
Here’s what we accomplished together:
- 203 blankets
- 11 sleeping bags
- 357 pairs of socks
- 118 meal kits
These donations were distributed across several organizations throughout San Diego County to help individuals and families facing housing and food insecurity.
Each year, this drive reminds us how powerful a collective effort can be. Whether staff donated items, prepared meal kits, contributed financially, or helped spread the word, their involvement made a real difference.
Terri London, Kleinfelder Construction Services Area Administrative Manager and Kleinfelder West Division Risk Review Coordinator, leads efforts to organize this event — now in its 11th year — each year. She says what continues to stand out to her year after year is not just the number of items collected, but the heart behind them.
“This team shows up with generosity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping others, and that is something I am incredibly proud of.”
Thank you to Terri and all the staff who participated for helping us end the year strong and for continuing a tradition rooted in kindness, service, and community support!
