Kleinfelder Construction Services Celebrates the Grand Opening of the Citracado Parkway Extension in San Diego
Kleinfelder Construction Services’ (KCS) public relations team assisted the City of Escondido in organizing the grand opening of the Citracado Parkway Extension Project. The event took place on Wednesday, August 21st, on the newly constructed bridge over Escondido Creek, marking a significant milestone in enhancing safety, connectivity, and the overall quality of life for Escondido residents.
Event highlights included before-and-after drone photos, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a ceremonial first drive over the bridge by emergency responders, paying special tribute to Palomar Health for their generous contribution to the project.
KCS played a pivotal role in the project’s success, working closely with the prime consultant, TY LIN International. Our expertise in construction management and public relations was instrumental in the project’s completion, ensuring the community was kept informed throughout the construction process. Kleinfelder’s Construction Materials Engineering & Testing (CoMET) team also played an integral role on the project, providing materials and laboratory testing services and plant inspection.
