Jamie Curreri Joins Kleinfelder’s Southern Nevada Operations
Kleinfelder is excited to welcome Jamie Curreri as the Engineering Manager for Kleinfelder’s Southern Nevada operations.
An Air Force Veteran, Jamie is a seasoned leader with a background in public works management and a proven history in managing the maintenance and improvement of large-scale public agency facility and infrastructure projects. He most recently led Boulder City’s Public Works Department as their Public Works Director. He has served on the RTC Executive Advisory Committee (EAC), chaired for the Regional Flood Control District Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), and is a board member for the Southern Nevada Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA). Jamie also has experience as a Class A Water Systems Operator and German crane specialist.
Throughout his career, Jamie has been instrumental in spearheading initiatives that optimize the performance and longevity of city facilities and infrastructure. While Director of Public Works for Boulder City, Nevada, Jamie was responsible for millions of dollars in water and wastewater improvements, roadway enhancements, streetscape improvements, building/facility/site improvements, electrical infrastructure replacement, and flood control improvement projects, including the Hemenway Watershed Phase IIB project. As Director of Public Works for the Hemlock Farms Community Association in Hawley, Pennsylvania, Jamie and his team maintained a community of over 10,000 residents and 4,600 acres of land. They executed a 15-year storm water project that upgraded the Hemlock Farms Community’s source water and runoff issues. The community’s Storm Water Plan was one of the largest in the area to be approved by the Army Corp of Engineers at $30 million.
With a strong background in project management and leadership of complex teams, Jamie has demonstrated his ability to collaborate effectively, build high-performing teams, and implement strategic initiatives to drive success. As the Engineering Manager for Kleinfelder’s Southern Nevada operations, he will oversee a team of talented civil and structural engineers and designers delivering a diverse portfolio of projects aimed at enhancing the functionality, efficiency, safety, and sustainability of Las Vegas Valley infrastructure while maintaining budget and schedule objectives. Under his guidance, the Kleinfelder team will continue implementing cutting-edge technologies and best practices to streamline operations, provide engineering solutions, and reduce client costs.
“We welcome Jamie’s exceptional leadership and management skills,” said Dave Alexander, Nevada Area Manager. “His contribution will play a significant role in our ongoing commitment to delivering excellent client services.”
