Helping Achieve a More Secure Water Supply in Big Bend National Park

The project encompasses replacing aging water mains, service lines, and valves; rehabilitating and replacing water treatment facilities and storage tanks; and installing new storage tanks and pumping systems to improve system capacity.

5.0 MG Murphy Drive Pump Station Tank No. 1 Rehabilitation

Kleinfelder prepared the preliminary engineering assessment report and final design documents for the 5 MG GST rehabilitation that included recommendations associated with the interior and exterior coating systems, site improvement, tank structural members repair and replacement, and safety and security upgrades.
Pure Water San Diego Miramar Clearwell Improvements

As the prime consultant, Kleinfelder provided engineering management, design, and construction support services. This highly complex, 4.5-year construction project met all major milestones on schedule and completed the last stages of startup in January 2021 – all with zero unplanned outages of service to over 600,000 customers in northern San Diego.
Ankeny Northwest Booster Station Design

Veenstra & Kimm, A Kleinfelder Company worked with the city to design a station that could serve areas in both a closed system and an open system, giving it the ability to operate once a planned water tower is constructed in the area. The team successfully designed a station that will serve the city for many years.
Auto Parts Manufacturer Reverse Osmosis System
South Carolina
The treatment system was designed to meet water quantity and quality requirements for the client with no interruption in the manufacturing process. To achieve this, Kleinfelder designed a system that treated the water using a reverse osmosis (RO) membrane system to achieve the required lower dissolved solids levels.
