Matthew Hawkeye Promoted to Area Manager of Alberta, Canada, Operations
Kleinfelder is pleased to announce that Matthew Hawkeye, PE, PhD, has been promoted to the role of Alberta Area Manager. Hawkeye has been with Kleinfelder for more than a decade of his 21-year career, most recently serving as Electrical Engineering Manager for the Alberta Area. In that role, he provided technical leadership across electrical, instrumentation and controls, and engineering services. His work supported both public and private sector clients in oil and gas, natural gas transmission and distribution, water and wastewater, mining, and industrial and commercial markets. Hawkeye holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a PhD in electrical engineering – both received from the University of Alberta.
As Area Manager, Hawkeye will lead operations across Alberta, focusing on strategic growth while continuing to support the high-quality work delivered throughout the region. His track record of building strong relationships, guiding teams, and providing technical insight positions him well for this expanded role.
“Matthew has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, deep technical knowledge, and a collaborative spirit that has strengthened both our projects and our culture,” said Central Division Director Pascal Hinnen. “His ability to guide teams, build strong client relationships, and deliver results has made him a key contributor to our success. We look forward to his continued success in this new chapter of his career.”
Supporting Hawkeye in this new role, we are pleased to convey the subsequent promotions of Randolph Bumanlag, CET, PL (ENG), to Electrical Engineering Manager, and Nicole Reinbolt, CET, to Instrumentation and Controls Manager. Both Bumanlag and Reinbolt have consistently demonstrated outstanding technical capabilities, strong leadership and teamwork skills, and commitment to our clients and organization. We are confident they will guide their respective departments with energy, vision, and excellence.
