Looking back on the CAPIO25 Annual Conference, held in Napa, California, and themed ‘Soar Higher,’ the Kleinfelder Construction Services (KCS) public relations team reflects on its lasting impact. Recognizing the vital role of strong connections with various agencies in delivering meaningful communications for our clients and their communities, KCS team members Jocelyn Angulo and Gina Chapa attended and engaged with industry partners and clients at the three-day conference in April 2025. This opportunity allowed the team to learn, grow, and gather fresh perspectives and tools to elevate its work.
Conference Highlights
KCS attendees engaged in informative panel discussions, solution spotlights, and networked with leading communications professionals in the industry.
Insights and Inspiration: They connected with talented communicators across California and attended insightful sessions on building community trust, generative artificial intelligence (AI), crisis communications, media relations, digital accessibility, and overall community engagement. The energy, ideas, and shared passion for public outreach and service were inspiring.
Celebrating Client Achievement: Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) accepted an EPIC Award for its Septic-to-Sewer Conversion project’s right of entry (ROE) process, led by KCS as the prime consultant. Kleinfelder is proud to support EVMWD’s efforts and be part of the team fulfilling the project goals. By successfully securing the necessary ROE forms, the KCS team helped pave the way for the project to move forward into Phase 2.
