Kleinfelder Helps City of Encinitas Revive Pacific View Arts Center
Kleinfelder Construction Services provided construction management and led public outreach efforts, while Kleinfelder’s San Diego CoMET team provided materials testing for the revitalization of the Pacific View Arts Center.
Kleinfelder Construction Services (KCS) and Kleinfelder’s San Diego CoMET team played a key role in revitalizing the long-vacant Pacific View Arts Center in Encinitas, California. After standing empty for over two decades, the building officially reopened on August 6th. Presided over by Mayor Tony Kranz, the grand opening featured a captivating poem by local artist Darius Degher, an invocation by Pastor Bill Harman, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Encinitas City Council and other noteworthy guests. Following the ceremony, attendees toured the facility, viewing classrooms and studios where a variety of arts education programs will be offered.
KCS provided comprehensive construction management, led by Hossein Azar, as well as inspection, surveying, and labor compliance services. Anna Finlay led the public outreach and creative services for the project, and Nikki Mangold oversaw Kleinfelder’s materials testing services. The combined expertise of these services played a crucial role in the timely completion of this ambitious undertaking.
