Kleinfelder Selected as a Member of the Colonial Pipeline “Circle of Excellence”
Kleinfelder has been honored with membership in the esteemed “Circle of Excellence” by Colonial Pipeline. This prestigious award reflects Kleinfelder’s unwavering dedication and commitment to upholding Colonial Pipeline’s high safety standards, as exemplified by our outstanding safety performance in 2022. Both Kleinfelder and Colonial Pipeline firmly believe in the possibility of achieving a safety record of zero incidents. As a trusted and dependable partner, Kleinfelder has consistently taken proactive measures on every project to demonstrate that this goal is attainable, prioritizing the well-being of individuals above all else. Pete Shandrick, Kleinfelder’s Program Health and Safety Representative, and all team members prioritized this goal and implemented best practices, safety investigations, and training into each project executed.
On May 18th, Liz Bissonnette, Southeast Area Design Lead, and Carsten Christgau, Program Manager, graciously accepted the award during a two-day Colonial Pipeline Northeast District Contractor Safety Symposium held in Annapolis, MD. This event served as a valuable platform for engaging with Colonial Pipeline’s District leadership, operations, and project management teams, while also providing important updates from Colonial’s procurement and public affairs department.
