Colin Silla Promoted to Area Manager of GTS Business Operations
SAN DIEGO, California – The Kleinfelder Group, Inc. (Kleinfelder), a leading engineering, design, construction management, construction materials inspection and testing, and environmental professional services firm, announced today that Colin Silla has been promoted to Vice President and Area Manager of the Gas Transmission Systems, Inc. (GTS) business operations. GTS is an industry-leading gas utility design and pipeline services company that Kleinfelder acquired in October 2020.
Colin joined GTS in 2011 and has held various technical and managerial roles across the GTS operations including Engineering Manager and District Manager where he helped to establish the newly created Atlanta, Georgia office. In his most recent role as Chief of Staff, Colin provided direct support to Senior and Executive GTS Operations personnel. As Area Manager, Colin will lead the GTS operations that continue to provide industry leading services and deliverables throughout North America.
Colin’s promotion demonstrates Kleinfelder’s effective succession planning. Ben Campbell, who led the GTS operations in recent years, has decided to retire following the completion of his assignment to lead the GTS integration following the acquisition. Ben has been a tremendous leader, driving growth, technical quality, and collaboration across Kleinfelder operations, while also building and mentoring talented professionals.

The new leadership positions will provide enhanced integration with the overall business and promote more collaboration across departments, revenue synergies, and growth opportunities.
