Kleinfelder Announces San Diego Office Relocation

Kleinfelder remains in downtown San Diego and is positioned to support key infrastructure projects throughout the area

SAN DIEGO, California (October 26, 2021) – The Kleinfelder Group, Inc., a leading engineering, design, construction management, construction materials inspection and testing, and environmental professional services firm, announced today that it has relocated its San Diego area office to 770 First Avenue, Suite 400, San Diego, California 92101.  Kleinfelder’s new office location, also known as “The Paladion,” was selected due to several factors – convenience for staff, proximity to clients, and local amenities.

“Kleinfelder has had a strong presence in San Diego since 1999, and the area is a proud part of our company’s culture,” shared Kleinfelder President and CEO Louis Armstrong.  “Through the decision to remain downtown, we confirmed our commitment to our San Diego area staff and our clients, and we are eager to continue Kleinfelder’s growth in all phases of our business.”

Approximately 140 corporate and operational employees are part of the relocation.  Kleinfelder has an additional office in the Kearny Mesa area with approximately 90 employees.

“We are happy to continue our major presence in downtown San Diego,” noted Kleinfelder Senior Vice President and San Diego Area Manager John Moossazadeh. “As one of the top professional services firms in San Diego, Kleinfelder has played a significant role in the design and construction of many local landmarks.  Our new location at the heart of the new technology campus in downtown San Diego will benefit our employees and our current and future clients.”

The new office location features the latest technology and flexible workspace designed for innovation and collaboration, which are hallmarks to Kleinfelder’s client service and continued growth.  Kleinfelder is among trendsetters in engineering and related services, which includes an acute focus on safety, as well as major organizational commitments and groups concerned with diversity, equity, and inclusion.

“As with all Kleinfelder office relocations, a key determining factor was our discussions with employees, who are the heartbeat of our organization,” said Kleinfelder Corporate Real Estate Manager Richard McCain.  “With the various changes we’ve seen or experienced over the last couple of years, ensuring our talented staff are set up for success was essential to our relocation.”
