Kleinfelder Positions for Growth in Northern California Market with the Addition of Dave Watson

SACRAMENTO, California – Dave Watson has joined Kleinfelder – a leading engineering, construction management, design, and environmental professional services firm – as Vice President for Project/Construction Management. Focused on growing the business in Northern California, Watson will partner with operations teams across the region to drive technical excellence on high profile, demanding projects and expand Kleinfelder’s portfolio of large project management and construction management contracts.

An accomplished industry professional with over 20 years of experience, Watson has held leadership positions directing operations within three distinct business lines – project management/construction management, transportation, and water. His proven record of optimizing overall performance on a regional scale has resulted in measurable revenue growth and business expansion, created growth opportunities, increased employee retention, and facilitated delivery efficiencies.

In addition to his experience leading business operations, Watson has extensive experience managing large design and construction programs such as the $10 billion Abu Dhabi Airport Expansion Program and the $330 million Paris Sorbonne University design-build project. Watson has also provided project and construction management for several multi-million-dollar modernization and new construction programs for Northern California school districts.

Watson holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from California State University, Chico, and has extensive postgraduate training and certifications in business administration from the University of Liverpool, England.
