Bruce ‘Wayne’ King Joins Kleinfelder as Mining Program Engineering Manager
ATLANTA, Georgia—Kleinfelder is pleased to announce that Bruce ‘Wayne’ King has joined Kleinfelder’s East Division as the Mining Program Engineering Manager. Wayne will be working closely with Elliott Mallard to support the East Division Mining Program, with a primary focus on Kleinfelder’s Georgia-based aggregate clients.
With over 27 years of experience, Wayne spent the first seven years of his career as an engineering consultant with two firms in Albany, Georgia and Orange Park, Florida. He then transitioned into the aggregate mining industry, as the corporate Mine Planner for Florida Rock Industries. He has spent the past 20 years of his career serving as the corporate or division mine planner for three major aggregate producers, gaining experience in both open pit and underground aggregate production. During this time, he developed long and short term mine plans for locations along the east coast of the United States and as far west as Colorado. He also has experience with operations in parts of New Brunswick, Canada and the Grand Bahama Island. Wayne has been involved with over 100 quarry locations and has designed and built Enterprise GIS Systems for land management and resource/reserve geodatabases for public and privately owned aggregate producers, Wayne brings an immense wealth of knowledge to Kleinfelder that will directly benefit the mining and aggregate clients we serve.

Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. He has a Professional Engineers License in Georgia and Florida and held a National GIS Professional (GISP) Certification.
