We have been awarded more than 150 projects throughout the system and have been recognized for our value-added engineering services to UNC campuses.
To more effectively serve this long-term client, Kleinfelder cross-trained its staff with ICC certifications and began offering a turnkey package of construction materials testing and special inspection services on several large, long-duration projects. We have served as a trusted advisor providing these services on many projects, ensuring the UNC’s facilities are constructed in accordance with plans and specifications and are safe places to learn.
Kleinfelder has held many open-ended contracts with the UNC system and has responded quickly to the client’s needs. We have been added as an early team member on many large projects (up to $250 million) and retained to provide consulting services throughout the project lifecycle—from concept through completion. We’ve also helped gain environmental compliance to avoid potential issues with regulatory agencies.
