Completed in 2010, the Surgery and Emergency Services Pavilion is the centerpiece of UCDMC’s expansion and improvement program. Designed to expand and modernize its facilities the $424 million, 470,000-square-foot facility provides additional beds and operating rooms, while meeting state seismic safety standards.

Safe and On-Schedule

As part of the UCDMC construction program team, Kleinfelder provided value-added inspection and testing services that facilitated timely compliance with seismic safety and building code requirements for the new Surgery and Emergency Services Pavilion. Kleinfelder’s work helped reduced costs and meet schedule demands for this high-profile project.
