Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) needed to replace the outdated HVAC system in the Ticketing Hall of Logan Airport’s 45-year-old Terminal C, as well as the 30-year-old interior ceiling, which had inadequate lighting and significant cosmetic problems. The project also included installation of a sprinkler system that Massport had promised to its Fire and Rescue Department.
Today, those who pass through Terminal C enjoy the comfort of a well-lit, visually impressive Ticketing Hall with improved air quality. Furthermore, Terminal C surpasses code requirements with a comprehensive sprinkler system. All of the upgraded systems were delivered on time and on budget, with minimal disruption to ongoing terminal operations.
