GOLDEN, Colorado — Kleinfelder has expanded its geotechnical expertise by hiring Norbert Peyfuss as its Colorado Geotechnical Team Leader. Peyfuss brings more than 20 years of civil, geotechnical, and environmental project management experience from his extensive work with mining, transportation, industrial and commercial development clients.
In his new role, Peyfuss will be responsible for integrating Kleinfelder’s team of geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists in the Colorado Springs and Golden offices. He is located in the company’s Golden, Colorado office.

Prior to joining Kleinfelder, Peyfuss’s assignments have included engineering analysis and design, subsurface investigations and construction on projects around the world, including North, Central and South America, Africa, Russia and Southeast Asia. His design work ranged from project siting studies and alternatives assessments through final design, third-party reviews, value engineering and forensic studies.
