Adam Spry Joins Kleinfelder as South Division Power Market Manager
Kleinfelder is excited to announce the addition of Adam Spry as the new South Division Power Market Manager. In this role, Adam will lead efforts to expand Kleinfelder’s presence in the power sector, focusing on power generation, transmission, and distribution across the South Division. His responsibilities will include identifying and securing new business opportunities, contributing to strategic market growth planning, and developing and maintaining client relationships.
Adam brings 17 years of comprehensive experience in the energy industry, encompassing renewables, natural gas, and electric transmission and distribution. His background includes leadership in land rights acquisition, project analysis, GIS, and environmental compliance. Most recently, Adam served as Director of Renewables Business Development at Deriva Energy, where he was instrumental in advancing utility-scale solar and wind repowering projects, as well as leading development analyst teams.
Throughout his career, Adam has demonstrated expertise in litigation management, complex negotiations, and project planning. During his tenure at Duke Energy and Piedmont Natural Gas he managed large teams and significant budgets, streamlining processes, and ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance.

Adam’s legal education, with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Cecil C. Humphries School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Lambuth University, further complements his practical experience, equipping him with the skills to navigate the complex landscape of the power industry effectively.
