Kleinfelder to Host Exclusive Women’s Professional Networking Event
SAN DIEGO, California – Kleinfelder and Athena San Diego – a dynamic professional organization uniting women executives from science, technology, engineering and healthcare industries — will host an exclusive networking event intended to empower San Diego’s female leaders.
“With women representing only 24% of the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) workforce, opportunities for networking and collaboration are extremely important,” says Linda Lannen, Kleinfelder’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). “Kleinfelder sponsored the event because we want to showcase the amazing accomplishments of the female engineers, architects and scientists, and to demonstrate that “technology” goes beyond IT and biotechnology – it also includes engineering, architecture and environmental science.
