Project Description

Kleinfelder provided Project/Construction Management for a $3 million addition to the main campus that was completed in 2002. Phase 2 consisted of four modular classroom buildings, associated site work, utilities and landscaping. This project was extremely fast-paced. Building pads were poured on June 11, 2004 and classrooms had to be ready for occupancy on August 11, 2004. Phase 2 was separated into three increments: Increment 1 was the site preparation; Increment 2 was the construction of the classroom buildings; Increment 3 was the remaining associated site work, utilities and landscaping. Responsibilities included the management of Increment 3 multiple prime contracts, including electrical, low voltage, EMS controls, network management, fire hydrant and landscaping, as well as coordination of the Increment 2 Building Contractor activities with the multiple prime contractors
