When Jim Kleinfelder invested his life savings in 1961 to start a materials testing consulting service in Stockton, Calif., one of his goals was to build a company that would last and thrive long past his time as its leader.

As his business grew, Jim saw that while the company needed to be flexible enough to adjust to client needs, it also should adhere to a set of core values: honesty, integrity, respect for all individuals and exceptional client service.

Kleinfelder has evolved and expanded its services and geographic regions over the years. Jim's vision of remaining true to core values in business practices is his legacy and the key to our firm's perpetuation.
