Kleinfelder provided infrastructure assessments and life cycle planning/budget support for Air Force Space Command Primary Mission facilities at Peterson AFB.
Challenge: This project involved facility condition assessments at 40 selected on-base facilities. It required review of existing facility information, including drawings, records, budget data, and maintenance information, as well as interviews with key facility management personnel.
Solution: Leveraging multi-disciplinary teams, Kleinfelder developed or modified existing life-cycle planning models and budget tools to support local management efforts and local site requirements. We provided key input and quality control during the software development of the electronic data management tool, including a report identifying existing facility conditions for each major infrastructure component—roofs, exteriors and interiors, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, security systems, pavements, and much more.
Project Results: Kleinfelder worked with the client to develop customized software requirements and reporting tool formats to manage capital assets at the installation.
